Yes, raw materials already contaminated in the field while crops are grown. Once mycotoxins are formed, organic acids or heat treatment will not kill them. On top of this, if pet food is not stored properly, then storage mycotoxins will also be produced. |

The best suggestion is to strengthen the gut health and immune systems which are mainly affected by DON. Some enzymes are also studied for their ability to degrade DON but practical utilization needs to be evaluated. |
